Does GenerationEd guarantee a job, scholarship or university admission?

GenerationEd does not guarantee a job, scholarship or university admission. It explains the process, develops talent and connects candidates with opportunities.

GenerationEd assists candidates with preparation and orientation, but does not guarantee a job, scholarship or university admission.

Does GenerationEd guarantee a job, scholarship or university admission?

No. GenerationEd does not guarantee a job, scholarship or university admission. Its role is to help candidates prepare, demonstrate their abilities and connect with suitable opportunities when available.

GenerationEd does not guarantee a job, scholarship, university admission, visa or residency. It can identify, assess and develop candidates, help them navigate the process and, depending on readiness and availability, connect them with a company, university or official programme. The final decision is always made by the relevant institution.

What GenerationEd can do

Assess the technical basis, motivation, ability to communicate and readiness to work on a practical assignment.

Set a technical task with a defined outcome, deadline and feedback process.

Help the candidate close specific gaps through mentoring, assignments or access to relevant resources.

Clarify the difference between applying to school, applying for a scholarship, testing, and project involvement.

When suitable opportunities are available, connect ready candidates with companies, universities, mentors or projects.

Direct candidates to official resources and help them prepare for the next steps.

GenerationEd support means help with candidate identification, testing, development and orientation. It does not constitute a decision on admission, scholarship or employment.

What GenerationEd does not guarantee

Area Who decides GenerationEd's role
Work or project involvement Company, startup or organization Verify readiness and, depending on availability, arrange a suitable connection
Admission to the university A specific university Explain the process and direct the candidate to official information
Scholarship Scholarship program provider Help with orientation, preparation and understanding of conditions
Visa and residence Competent state authorities Provide guidance and official information, not make the decision
Talent assessment result The candidate's performance against transparent criteria Set a transparent assignment and evaluation process

Why is this distinction important?

A false promise of a job or scholarship would damage both the candidate and the credibility of the project. A candidate could invest time and money in the process with the wrong expectation. In turn, a company or university could get the impression that GenerationEd is making decisions on their behalf.

The transparent model is simpler:

  • GenerationEd prepares and develops the candidate.
  • The candidate must meet the conditions of the specific process.
  • The company decides on project or work involvement.
  • The university decides on admission.
  • The program provider decides on the scholarship.
  • State authorities decide on visas and residence.

Registration is not admission. Testing is not a job offer. A recommendation is not a scholarship. An introduction to an institution is not that institution's decision.

What a realistic candidate path looks like

Registration

The candidate creates a basic profile and describes their technical focus, experience and motivation.

Skills assessment

This is followed by a technical or practical task that evaluates the result, deadline and communication.

Development

If the candidate needs to improve specific skills, they continue with mentoring or other tasks.

Suitable opportunity

If the candidate is ready and a suitable project or programme is available, GenerationEd may facilitate an introduction.

Separate decision

The company, university or programme provider conducts its own assessment and makes the final decision.

Example: the candidate wants to study in Slovakia

The candidate is interested in studying at a Slovak university and applying for a scholarship programme.

GenerationEd can: explain the difference between a university application and a scholarship application, help navigate official information, support the development of AI or IT skills and guide the candidate on next steps.

GenerationEd cannot: decide admissions, award scholarships, replace official tests, guarantee visas or promise future employment.

Example: the candidate wants to work on a remote project

The candidate completes a technical task and demonstrates the ability to deliver the result on time. GenerationEd may then consider them ready for further assessment or suitable project opportunities.

However, this still does not mean automatic work. There must be an appropriate brief, budget, contractual framework and approval from the specific firm or organization.
